Good location.
Pool was very small and only opened at 11.00 am each morning. Reception staff unwilling to speak Spanish even though we have lived and worked in Spain for 10 years and are completely fluent.

We had a grand time in this lovely hotel that's steeped in history. The restaurant was mighty, serving fantastic meals in a stunning vaulted room. Just a wee bit chilly in the bathroom, though, could warm it up a tad!

We loved staying in this incredible building with all modern comforts. The staff were all very friendly and we would highly recommend it.

Staff very helpful and some did speak English. Reception staff in these larger hotels ought to speak either French or English as well as their native tongue.
Car parking underground and having to use the lift. Some people do not like lifts and the experience of a car lift may frighten them as it did me!

Beautiful historic architecture, Unique car parking mechanism, Scenic outdoor courtyard
The pool area lacked space and depth. It felt more like a kiddie pool!!! Getting to the hotel was a navigation hassle due to confusing signage!!! A little more effort in the courtyard's ambiance would transform it!!!

Our room was spacious with 2 television sets and a small "sitting room."
The room had little natural light and the small window overlooked the main road. We were informed that only the "superior rooms" had larger windows which did not overlook the road.Although stated to be 4 star, there was no offer with assistance with luggage and the room was a fair distance from reception. The cost of the car park was expensive.

My family and I enjoyed the Parador itself. The corridors, the layout, the rich use of color, the placement of furniture etc. Was absolutely stunning. We loved the feel of the Parador.
We particularly did not enjoy the service attitude we experienced in the bar, the night bar and the restaurant. When we were served by male service staff their attitude was shocking. It truly felt as if we were in their way. It was such a relief when we went to breakfast and their were only lady servers. They were professional, helpful and smiled goodmorning.

Fine Plasencia vibes 🇪🇸✨
What a lekker stay! I reminded me of I stepped back in time with all the medieval charm around. The staff were super friendly, especially at reception-big shoutout to my chommie there! My room was spacious and cozy, just what I needed after a long day. The breakfast had great local goodies, made for a proper brekkie.
But the air conditioning was a bit noisy, could do with some upgrading.
